About Dr. Sophia Wong
I’m a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery. Originally from Short Hills, NJ, I completed residency at The George Washington University and fellowship at University of California, Davis. I returned to GWU as Associate Residency Program Director and now serve as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology.
My practice is grounded in evidence-based medicine, combining clinical experience with the latest research to guide treatment decisions.
I live in Maryland with my husband, Ben, and our three children. In my spare time, I enjoy reading mystery novels and spending time in nature.
